Within a day of release, Satyameva Jayate’s first song Dilbar has broken records. The song that was launched on YouTube crossed 20 million views in just 24 hours, making it the first Hindi song to have garnered such numbers in India.

Produced by T-Series and Emmay Entertainment, the song featuring Nora Fatehi and John Abraham is making the right moves on digital platforms. The audiences have well received the recreated version of the iconic 90s song that was also a massive hit back then.

The track is composed by Tanishk Bagchi and sung by Neha Kakkar and Dhvani Bhanushali, while retaining Alka Yagnik’s voice from the original written by Shabbir Ahmed and Ikka.

Nikkhil Advani tweeted: “Salute to #BhushanKumar for understanding the situation and setting up the song for us. @TSeries team for setting new standards. Audiences for embracing the song with so much love. @EmmayEntertain”

Elated by the response, director Milap Milan Zaveri also tweeted: “#Dilbar is the 1st Hindi video in India EVER to cross 20 million views in a day! Creates HISTORY!”

Bhushan Kumar, equally proud with this new record break, said: “The response we have received first hand or online has been spectacular. The song got 9 million views in just few hours and 20 million and still counting in just a day is great. The teams have worked hard to make this song and I am happy that audiences are liking it.”

Dilbar’s music video is still growing in views and currently has more than 450,000 likes.
