The Hong Kong Asian-Pop Music Festival 2017 (HKAMF 2017) took place on 17 March at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. The event featured China’s Self-Portrait, Hong Kong’s Jocelyn Chan, Japan’s Hitomi Kaji, Malaysia’s Hanz Koay, Singapore’s Alfred Sim, South Korea’s Lydia Lee, Taiwan’s Yeh Bing Ham and Thailand’s Pannawach.
Alfred Sim was awarded the “Best Stage Performance” award, Lydia Lee won the “Best Vocal Performance” award, while Hanz Koay walked away with the HKAMF 2017 Top Viewer’s Choice award.
South Korea’s Lydia Lee won her second trophy of the night, as she was crowned the “Asian Supernova Award”, which was befitting her performance.
